Has anyone seen Mike?

The snow has been hard on everyone but it's been really hard on our Executive Director, Mike Gable!

Like many other businesses as of late, our sales have been less than stellar.  We even called an emergency meeting to brainstorm on what we could do to jumpstart things and get out in front of the current snow-laden slump.

We got the brilliant idea that maybe we needed to plow our parking lot and got right on that the very next day.  Hey... even we found the huge mounds and winding path through our parking lot's snow maze somewhat intimidating.

Then, next thing you know... we lost Mike!  For awhile, we thought he was just hold up in his office taking an executive nap, but after a few hours we started to worry.  We started searching, looking far and wide.  Lo and behold, off on the horizon, in a mountain of snow, we noticed a little head.  We can't imagine how this happened but we're very happy to report he's fine... absolutely fine!

What's the moral of the story?  We're not sure... but the parking lot's clear.  Shop & Donate Soon!

The CJ Buzz

We have two pieces of news folks will love to hear.

#1) We've received 300 gallons of paint!  Sherwin Williams too!

#2) We're putting all paint on sale!  20% off or more!  Sale runs through Sunday, March 14th.

  • Amazon 5 gallon buckets, normally $48.75, are now $40
  • Amazon 1 gallon cans, normally $13.50, are now $10
  • All other 5 gallon buckets, normally $25, are now $20
  • All other 1 gallon cans, normally $5, are now $4

Also, in an effort to share as much information as we can, we're re-blasting some items to ensure that folks know that some items from previous e-Blasts are still available.

CJ Q&A

I wondered if CJ has heard of this company: http://www.aswdetroit.org?  -- Regina

Regina -- Thanks for sharing this information about a store like ours in Detroit.  We're always very interested to study and learn from others across the country.  We'll be sure to take a look at their website and see what ideas and innovations could be applied to our own.  -- Cozmo
