e-Blast

June 29- July 5, 2009

Hey that's nice!

PLEASE NOTE... Construction Junction will be closed on Saturday, July 4th!!

It never fails... our consultants and vendors invariably end up having one thing in common.  They become customers.  Avid customers at that.

One of our favorite consultants is Michael Connolly.  Mike works for Schneider Downs and he's our "IT Guy" who knows everything there is to know when it comes to networks, computers, Windows operating systems and more.

A couple of years ago, Mike helped us assess the state of our technology, define a plan for improvements, and implement the solution.  He continues to remain invaluable for general IT support and maintenance.

Over the years Mike has been checking our inventory... waiting for the perfect mantle for his living room.  Not long ago it was his lucky day and off he went with a CJ mantle in the back of his car.  Upon his next visit he returned with photos.  Check out the project below from the start at CJ's warehouse to the finished product in Mike's living room.  Obviously Mike has many talents because that mantle is really nice!!  We love these stories.

The CJ Buzz

The Executive Director of the Pennsylvania Resources Council (Construction Junction's parent organization) has written a "call to action" letter to the editor that we want to share with you... specifically because it addresses Pennsylvania's capacity to maintain and implement statewide recycling programs and efforts.  Please check it out and act accordingly.
