What do I do with styrofoam???
Finally an answer to 'what do I do with styrofoam?' - CJ staff field this recycling question frequently and we know how much it pains people to throw this stuff into a hole in the ground.
First things first, sorry buy you cannot bring it to Construction, but you can take it to Pennsylvania Resources Council’s (PRC) Hard to Recycle Events. PRC has come to the rescue by partnering with NOVA Chemicals and Appliance Warehouse to collect hard white molded Polystyrene packaging material free of charge at each Hard to Recycle collection event. PRC launched Construction Junction in 1999 and the first “Hard to Recycle” events were piloted at CJ. We have a long and important partnership with the State’s oldest grass roots environmental organization. See them on Facebook for masses of great environmental advice and events!
